Here at The Aesthetic Union, we’re more than just a print shop producing beautiful artwork. We provide a physical space for collaboration and community, uniting people through the art of letterpress printing in an increasingly digital world. We’ve made it our responsibility to provide a hub for like-minded individuals to congregate and create. Through the time-tested craft of letterpress, we strive to encourage a diverse and inclusive community, available to people from all walks of life.
PRESS OPERATOR
William moved to the SF Bay Area in 1986 and has been involved in the commercial printing trade as a press operator ever since. Much of his time was spent producing wine & spirit labels in the Napa Valley. He is also a professional watchmaker, an amateur photographer and an avid musician.
OWNER
Katya is the platemaking, production managing, graphic designer-owner here at The Aesthetic Union. She felt rescued by the shop when she initially started as a platemaker and is honored to be keeping it alive, creating, and thriving for years to come.
