ANSWERS ON PFEIFFER RIDGE

I had the great pleasure of going down to Big Sur for a stay at the late Artist, Emile Norman’s home. I was inspired by his sculptures and use of materials, some of those materials I used to create this print. 

It’s not a usual motif for me, but I wanted to honor Emile’s legacy as a pivotal mid-century creator and blend his style with mine. 

I believe in his words, “Nobody ever gives you permission to become an artist,” you give yourself permission.

These prints are a limited edition of 40, they’re a combination of letterpress and holograph printing and are available for purchase framed and unframed or with our oak-hangers in the shop and on our site.
